ICare Concern
ANSWERS
How to intensify concerns
There is a procedure to escalate problems if they interfere with your patient’s recovery or workers’ compensation claim.
You can contact the insurer if your patient is not recuperating from their injuries or returning to work as you would anticipate. Depending on the situation, they might use other services or resources to discuss various potential injury treatment options.
Intensifying your patient’s worries about their claim
We recognize that every person’s situation is unique and that tackling complicated problems can be difficult.
Support options are available for your patient and their employer where there is ambiguity and conflict. Your patient should be encouraged to raise their concerns if they choose to. However, there may occasionally be a cause why your patient is unable to express a problem and may need your help.
Contacting the case manager at the insurance managing the claim should be your first course of action if your patient is having issues with their share.
