ANSWERS
Nurses play a variety of roles. A nurse may be a medical specialist’s assistant or a member of a surgical team of doctors on their way to an operation. However, nurses are more than just assistants; they have specific tasks to complete. You could name at least five roles a nurse must perform daily. Nursing fundamentals can be as complex as demanding work at times, but the results are always rewarding.
Examining a Patient
As soon as the patient is admitted to the hospital, a nurse must assess them. This preliminary assessment may be useful later, particularly when diagnosing.
Diagnosis
Following an initial assessment, nurses could perform a simple diagnosis on their patients. A nurse may want to interview the patient further and properly diagnose the patient.
Nursing Assistance
A nurse must immediately devise a patient care plan after a simple diagnosis. That plan, however, is consistent with the assessment and diagnosis.
Medical Assistance
A nurse may be able to use the services of a doctor if a patient requires further diagnosis. This will reassure the patient that another medical staff member has confirmed the initial medical attention.
