Importance of Evaluation
Having a way to effectively evaluate the programs that an organization is seeking funding for is an important part of the grant writing process. Funders like to see that organizations know how to evaluate the programs that they offer, and that they use the feedback from the evaluations to improve upon their services in the community. Using information from this unit’s readings, answer the following questions:
• What type of evaluation do you feel would be most beneficial to evaluate the program that you discussed in your Unit 6 Journal?
• What type of information might you learn from evaluating the program?
Your entry should be between 150-200 words.

What type of evaluation do you feel would be most beneficial to evaluate the program
that you discussed in your Unit 6 Journal?
Through formative evaluation, group therapy techniques can be put in scale while the activities of the program are still in place. Different kinds of programs are judged in accordance to their efficacy while the group it still in the initial phases ( Brat et al 2019). Formative evaluations permit designers, learners as well as instructors and managers to monitor how well instructional goals and objectives are being met. Its main prerogative is to catch deficiencies as soon as possible so that proper learning interventions can take place allowing the patients or even leaners master skills and engage effectively in skill and in knowledge
What type of information might you learn from evaluating the program?
As formative evaluation is useful in analyzing learning materials, patients learning techniques as well as achievements, it primarily builds in the accumulation of series of components of new skills, materials into a meaningful whole. It assists in identifying the state of the leaners or the techniques of the instructors in engagement or even knowledge delivery( Catriona et al 2020).
The goals of formative assessment is to monitor the progress of patients as well as students so as to provide an ongoing feedback that can be used by instructors in improving their teaching and the mental well-being of patients. It does this by helping patients and the counsellors to identify their strengths and weaknesses and the areas they need to address. It assists faculty to acknowledge the areas where the students are struggling and address the problems as soon as possible ( Bo et al, 2017).
