Identify a minimum of three issues that you should consider before selecting a funding
QUESTION
Our Discussion for this week will focus on the importance of creating a convincing argument that emphasizes the importance of a program. After completing the readings for this unit, review the brief case on the first page of Lesson 7 in the Karsh and Fox reading. As Karsh and Fox note, this problem statement is not very compelling.

Identify a minimum of three issues that you should consider before selecting a funding
source to apply
• The Amount Required
• Type of expenditure required to be undertaken by an organization
• The size status and the ability of the business to borrow
Describe why the issues that you listed are important to the success of a grant proposal
The success of a grant proposal depends on the match that the proposal meets the source of funds; a small lending institution may not grant the desired Amount of funds to a large organization. Similarly, a large lender or funder may not see it necessary for issuing out funds beneath its grant capacity.
The type of expenditure must match the interests of the donors.
If an organization is applying for much more funds than its size or project capacity, the proposal may go thought as expected.
Using specific examples, illustrate how the three issues that you discussed will impact a
grant proposal
The Amount Required, some sources are well suited for large borrowing. In contrast, some other sources are designed for lending small Amount s depending on the Amount the organization requires, whether large or small capital, it is wise to choose a source that uniquely set out according to the funding structure of the organization (Cuervo-Cazurra, 2018). For instance, selling shares might be important in raising cash that fosters organizations day to day performance.
The type of expenditure required to be undertaken by an organization would determine its choice of funding. Large projects need to be undertaken with large sources of funding. It largely depends on the scale of the project. For instance, if it is a community-based humanitarian project, the organization might seek funding from companies and institutions funding great sums to CBO’S (community-based organizations)
The size status and the business’s ability to borrow is a critical factor in the sourcing of funds. Suppose the humanitarian organization or business serves a large demographic, implying that their projects are of a greater scale. In that case, this requires a larger source of funding more than bank overdrafts. On the other hand, if an organization is small, it may rely on a source of funds that is much little compared to the larger institutions.
