Regression analysis will be one of the quantitative data analysis techniques employed in the study. Textual data are analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques to find trends and themes. Techniques for analyzing qualitative data used in this study include content and topic analysis.
In therapies designed to assist smokers in quitting smoking, motivation plays a crucial role. To find the best strategies for encouraging people to give up smoking although further study is required as in the context of motivation suggested herein. The study is well suited to investigate the function of motivation in smoking cessation therapies using mixed methods research, which integrates quantitative and qualitative data.
