This discussion has two parts.

Read the following in your textbook: “Get Fit with Wii” by Olivia Covey (pp. 213-214). In complete sentences and with depth and detail, answer the following:
Is Covey utilizing the pattern “effects of a major cause” or “causes for a major effect”? Explain your answer.
List at least two of the most effective sentences in Covey’s article, offering a full discussion of how and why they were effective for you as a reader of a cause and effect analysis.
Identify and explain at least one lesson you learned from reading this article that will help you with your own cause and effect essay.
Next, begin work on your own cause and effect essay by choosing a topic. Your topic must be very narrow, must address a very specific set of subpoints (depending on how you choose to organize, your subpoints may be causes or effects, but never a mix – we must always construct a cause and effect analysis with a major cause and several effects or a major effect and several causes). Your topic and subpoints must also have a powerful and clear purpose.

Remember that these prompts are broad; it is up to you to make your topic very, very specific, granular, and detailed. Consider a single individual who has entered your life in the past year and who has become a highly significant part of your life. Keeping in mind that no research is allowed, write a detailed cause/effect essay that examines either a specific main cause for why this person coming into your life was highly significant and several specific effects resulting from that person coming into your life, or an essay that examines a specific main significant effect resulting from that person coming into your life and several specific causes that led to that particular significant effect.
After spending some time reading, thinking about, and brainstorming over these prompts, please complete the following:

Moving into Week 6, as you compose your essay, your 3 subpoints may lend themselves to physical description – colors, shapes, sounds, smells – or more to listing qualities of a person or place and/or using some of the comparison and contrast and process methods you have learned.

The piece by Olivia Covey, getting fit with Wii, is primarily utilizing the aftermath of A major cause. The article’s root causes are any person who rarely finds time to get in good shape and form basically to make time for exercise. Olive restates that Getting fit with Wii is revolutionizing the working out experience. It makes it easier to exercise and in the convenience of a person’s home. An individual would come to enjoy the ordeal as opposed to the conventional loathing that one experiences before working out.
Through an explanation of the benefits of the Getting fit by Wii, Olive writes, “Wii fit is an interactive game designed to help all people of all ages and skill levels targeting specific areas, they need to improve by following a personal fitness routine (Covey, 2016 p213).” It is fun and has a variety of activities to choose from, so players will never get bored doing the same routine over and over again. (Covey, 2016). The two sentences mentioned above outline the key benefits and overall advantages of a fitness regime.
It identifies the entire beneficial aspects of the fitness regime, further explaining the subject of its performance. By this, the two sentences showed effectiveness through their purpose. This game can be done in personal customization to areas where the player or players want to lose weight generally. This game is mainly joyful, and the players enjoy themselves; it doesn’t feel like working out. Compared to the real gym experience, where one is tired even before the beginning, this opens up a whole new experience of getting into shape.

The Coronavirus pandemic, also known as the covid-19 pandemic, has taken a toll on the past twelve months. First identified in China in December 2019, the world health organization declared a pandemic outbreak in January 2020 after more than many infections took place all over the world. The resulting implications of the pandemic have been severe, the main being the massive loss of lives. The coronavirus, as a sole cause, has had multiple effects. It has greatly increased social distancing concerns all over the world. Social distance is defined as the distance between classes, race or ethnicity, gender, or even sexuality in sociological studies. Members of various groups mix less than members within the same group.
In this respect, the concept of social distance is not about classes, race, or ethnicities but isolations from the larger public domain from time to time. Due to its airborne nature, the coronavirus pandemic has led to crowd gatherings, reduced interactions among people regardless of their status. Extroverts like us have suffered greatly, but I have learned the benefits of solitude and the perks of introversion that was not otherwise visible in the normal world. The pandemic has taught me the value of spending time by myself.
During this period, I have met a friend who generally describes himself as an introvert; I shared my unbearable experience of staying at home, not having where to go due to the lockdowns, and so on. On the other hand, he was used to be indoors and didn’t find any difficulty with the ‘new normal.’ He is usually able to achieve a lot while being at peace. I have learned a lot for him on how to spend time alone.
